The main output of curiosity driven research are the publications in peer-reviewed journals. While journal metrics have been criticized as a quality measure for research output, nevertheless the body of published results over an extensive period of time represents an important aspect of the recognition research teams have in the field.

Here we present the publications, which are based on the research at least with partial funding from the current SFB-F61 “Hierarchies and Monarchies” and its predecessor, SFB-F28 “Jak-Stat Signalling: from Basics to Disease”. Due to the extensive time publications require to become published we manuscripts frequently become published beyond the lifetime of individual projects.
